I really gotta give a lot of props, since it's such a great shot in all respects, my job was real easy, all I had to do is play from the photo and try and maintain its feel.

Another take on mixing photography and pixel art.. This time I went a lil further and tried combining low res 2bit pixels with a grainy film shot.. Hope ya like the result.

Haha, I like this. The pixels and the grainy shot give it a nice lo-fi feeling. I like the colors a lot too.
I think my favorite part is the cat at the bottom. Cool stuff. =)

I like the humor in this, it screams pop culture, what with the mix of old style game type graphics coupled with the realism of the photograph. Very clever piece.

Yeah that's what I hoped for exactly - a lofi feel :D I hope my pixels blend in well with the photo.

Hah and yeah, the cat just don't give a crap about all the aliens and stuff :D

hahaha wow! i'm loving the photo+pixel stuff!! I LOVE THAT CAT!! he reminds me of those old nanopets/ giga pets/ tamagotchi things! I had a cat one that was my favorite lol. awesome job ^____^
